Exemption and liability limitations

The User is kindly asked to read the following carefully: conditions of use and/or consultation of the Website and teaching material made available. Continued use or consultation shall constitute full acceptance of such conditions on the part of the User.

The personal registration form contains all information required also for the purposes of ECM accreditation of e-learning courses. Completion of the personal registration form shall constitute self-certification according to art. 46 Italian Presidential Decree no. 445/2000.

1) The Internet website www.theneuroradiologyjournal.it and the print journal of the same name shall cover all aspects of healthcare in the field of the neurosciences. E-learning courses are designed for neuroradiologists, radiologists, neurosurgeons, neurologists, oncologists, intensive care physicians and radiodiagnostic technicians. Access to information on medicinal drugs subject to compulsory medical prescription shall be confined to health personnel entitled to prescribe or dispense such medications.

2) Use of the Website, the teaching material made available and the Service as a whole shall be solely and exclusively at the User's discretion. No information supplied to the User by Centauro Srl or obtained from or through the Website, the teaching materials made available or the Service as a whole shall entail any guarantee unless expressly provided by the General Conditions hereto.

3) Unless expressly specified, the entire content of the Website and the teaching material made available are owned by Centauro Srl. No part of the Website, trade mark, content, logo, graphics, sound or images shall be reproduced, retransmitted or otherwise used without the express consent of Centauro Srl. The texts can be downloaded or printed exclusively for personal non-commercial use. In all other cases, reproduction in whole or in part by analogical or digital means shall be prohibited without the written permission of the publisher.

4) All reasonable efforts have been made to ensure the information available on the Website and in the teaching material is accurate and up-to-date. However, Centauro Srl shall not be held liable in any way for the information on the Website and in the teaching material made available for any purpose other than professional updates and possible ECM accreditation. Documents and illustrations shall be deemed available as they are, with no guarantee whatsoever. Centauro Srl shall not be held liable for direct, indirect or consequent damages of any kind resulting from the use or realiability of the information available on the Website.

5) Documentation relating to diseases and/or pharmaceutical products consulted by visitors/users seeking advice on a specific health problem shall not be deemed an alternative to consultation with a doctor or other qualified healthcare professional.

You are informed that according to Italian Legislative Degree 196/2003, processing of data supplied on agreeing to our services may be used directly or through third parties for the following purposes :

1) updating address files of doctors and subscribers registered on the Website;

2) self-certification of identity and professional status of registered users;

3) forwarding personal information to the Italian National Agency for Regional Health Services, Italian Ministry of Health, Consorzio Gestione Anagrafica delle Professioni Sanitarie and any other agencies with institutional functions relating to Continuing Medical Education for accreditation and registration of ECM training credits obtaining by using the Service;

4) documentation of teaching activity carried out;

5) issuing participation certificates for ECM purposes if requested;

6) sending e-mail notices relating to teaching activity carried out;

7) sending any subsequent notices relating to course topics or the organization of other similar courses;

8) sending information on promotional initiatives for products and/or services offered by Centauro Srl, publisher of www.theneuroradiologyjournal.it;

9) sending information on promotional initiatives for products and/or services offered by third party companies confined to matters relating to your professional or scientific updates and professional activity.

The data processing procedures listed above may also be carried out using hard copy or computer and/or telematic support systsms and in any case using techniques and procedures designed to guarantee security and confidentiality.

Access to data and processing of the same are essential for access to the teachiing platform and hence shall constitue a prerequisite for access to the same. Failure to provide personal datra shall make it impossible to access the Website. Likewise, identification of inaccurate data shall entitle the Centauro Srl editorial office to suspend access to the Website.

Centauro Srl, with head offices and legal place of business in Via del Pratello 8, 40122 Bologna, Italy shall hold title to process your personal data.
